Dallas was a FANTASTIC afghan hound with the most lovely character and enormous showstyle. The most elegant and floating movement with very fierce expression.
Dallas was a top-afghan hound who died too early after given birth to her first litter. It needed a ceasarian because of the 5th pup who would not come out.
When Dallas was awake I drove home with Dallas but, when I was nearby my home Dallas suddenly cried terrible and i saw her eyes crying for help.
I was on the highway and could not return immediately to the vet so I phoned him to come immediately to our home and five minutes after I arrived home the vet was also at home but could not do anything any more.
When I arrived home Dallas was allready fading away and just before the vet arrived at home she died. It all went very quickly.
For me the stitching of the whomb was not done 100% and they came loose and dallas started bleeding inside.
